This holiday rental villa is on the South Costa Blanca close to Costa Calida region in the south east corner of Spain. The all-year-round weather has made Costa Calida (Warm Coast) a paradise for those who like the great outdoors.
The house is easily accessible from both Alicante airport ,50 minute drive and Murcia (San Javier) airport, 20 minutes by car. Airport pickups can be arranged if you are not intending to hire a car at the airport. A car hire is recommended.
Golf:The villa is within the gates of the Royal Golf Club Lomas De Campoamor. Two other golf courses Las Ramblas and Villa Martin are 5 to 10 minutes drive away. The weather is good in winter and brilliant in spring for golf. The green fees are reasonable when compared with the south coast.
Beaches:The Costa Calida is renowend for its fine blue flag beaches which beaches are within 5 to 10 minutes drive. The nearest and my favourite is the Campoamor beach. It is a much larger beach with facilities for water sports. The other nice beaches are La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Mil Palmeras. The Mar Menor is Europe's largest salt water Lagoon. There are a host of beaches on the the Mar Menor. The nearest beach on the Mar Menor from the Villa is Lo Pagan.
Outdoor Activity: For those who like the great outdoors a whole host of activities from horse riding to cycling, and from walking or trekking to climbing and fishing. These can be enjoyed not only on the coast but in the glorious Sierra Espuna National Park.
